Reunions are weekly gatherings held to follow up on WCCC Members in the surrounding communities, as well as the beneficiaries of our activities. During these meetings we also assess the impact of our activities in the communities we serve. During these sessions, members gather, share experiences from the previous week and pray for one another. Those that are faced with different life challenges and hardships are encouraged to seek counselling from the WCCC counselors. Also during these sessions, clients participate in the Village Savings Scheme where they contribute money to their savings. Several members have participated in this savings activity and it has improved their saving culture. These savings have facilitated personal development and some have even started up small businesses as well as catering for their personal needs without having to be beggars or even approach money lenders.

Also during these sessions, there is information sharing on a wide range of topics. These include behavioral change, communication, security cautiousness, business matters, health matters and many more. It is through these information exchange sessions that members are encouraged to be change ambassadors in their places of work, residence and community at large.

In this reporting period, we have had a little fewer Re-union sessions than usual. This was because the routine was interrupted by the Covid-19 lockdown as well as the social distancing guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health to prevent any community transmissions.
